Checklist for problems

If you have problems when using Steady, please check the following settings in your browser and installed plugins:

  • Cookies must be enabled for the domain www.steadyHQ.com
  • The setting “clear local data when you quit your browser” (or similar) must be disabled.
  • For credit card payments Java Script and Cross-Site-Scripting (in case your browser has such a setting) must be enabled in your browser. If you want to enable JavaScript only for specific connections, you should allow a connection to Braintree.  Braintree is Steady's payment service provider for credit card payments.
If problems persist, check if your browser plugins (e.g. NoScript) or tools (e.g. CC-Cleaner) have similar settings that also must be disabled.
