A publisher has invited you to access paid content on Steady. Here's how to accept it.
Step 1: Check your inbox
You'll receive an email from Steady with the subject line "You've been invited to enjoy a membership."
Click the button to Accept Invitation.
Step 2: Log in or create a free Steady account
If you already have a Steady account, log in. You'll see a popup confirming your invitation — click Accept.
If you're new to Steady, fill in your details to create a free account, then click Sign Up. When you click on the link from the invitation email, you can also choose to sign up with a different email than the one you received the invitation at.
Step 3: Access your membership
Once you've accepted, you'll have access to the publisher's paid content on Steady. You can find your membership under Memberships in your Steady account.

Do I need to pay anything?
No. Your access is free or paid for on a different platform.
I already have a Steady account. What do I do?
Click the link in the invitation email and log in to your existing account. You'll see a popup asking you to confirm — just click Accept.
What email address should I use?
When you click on the link from the invitation email, you can choose any email to create an account. You will receive a verification code to complete the signup.
What does "paid for outside Steady" mean on my membership card?
It means your membership is managed externally. You don't need to pay anything through Steady, however you can choose to pay on Steady going forward (and cancel your membership on the other platform).
I can't find the invitation email.
Check your spam folder. If you still can't find it, contact the publisher directly to ask them to resend it.
