Can memberships, sponsorships, or subscriptions be transferred between Steady accounts?
If you have questions about transferring memberships, sponsorships, or subscriptions between Steady accounts, here’s all you need to know.
Account-Specific Restrictions
Steady does not allow the transfer of memberships, sponsorships, or subscriptions between accounts. This means that if you create a new account, you will not be able to move an existing membership, sponsorship, or subscription from your old account to your new account. Steady memberships and subscriptions are tied to the account under which they were originally created and cannot be transferred elsewhere. For example:
If you have an active membership under Account A, it cannot be shifted to Account B.
Similarly, subscriptions created under one account cannot be moved to any other account.
Account-specific restrictions ensure that memberships and subscriptions remain tied to the account through which they were originally purchased.
Options for Managing Subscriptions
If you find that you need a subscription under a different account, there are a couple of steps you can take:
Cancel the Existing Subscription: You can cancel your current subscription from within your existing account.
Purchase a New Subscription: After cancellation, you can then purchase the subscription again under your desired account.
Please note that refunds, if applicable, would depend on Steady’s refund policy. Ensure to review the refund policy carefully before proceeding. By following these steps, you can manage your subscriptions while adhering to Steady’s non-transferability policy.
