Steady offers different payment methods: Paypal, Apple Pay, credit card, direct debit. Depending on the currency, different payment methods are available. See all payment methods and supported currencies.
Payment by direct debit is the preferred method, as this carries the lowest payment fee (1 percent of your payment plus a small fixed fee – €0.20 for payments in euros), meaning the publisher gets to keep more of what you pay.
In order to guarantee secure, compliant processing for the SEPA direct debit procedure, Steady works with the payment service provider GoCardless. For the credit card payment procedure we use the service provider Braintree.
Change payment method
You can change your payment method at any time in your settings under Memberships > Payment Method.
