Members support creators on Steady by purchasing memberships. These help creators finance their projects and secure a future for their work.
With guest access, you can use a Steady membership for free. This gives you access to the exclusive benefits included in the membership plan of the member who gave you guest access.
How to use your guest access
When someone adds you as a free guest on their paid plan, you receive an invitation via email.
If you already have a Steady account, just log in. You will land on the Memberships page in your Steady backend and see an invitation. Click on accept to access the content available on that plan.
New to Steady? Create a free account and then accept the invitation on the Memberships page.
When you click on the link in the invitation email, you can also choose to create an account using a different email address than the one which received the invitation. This only works when you follow the link from the email. It takes you to a signup page, where you can change the email address.
Frequently asked questions
Don't see the invitation?
Log in with your Steady account and navigate to the Memberships page. You should see the invitation there.
Alternatively search in your email inbox for an email from Steady <support@steadyhq.com> about guest access.
The guest invitation disappears when the host removed guest access or their membership ended.
What do you get access to?
Once you've accepted the invitation you will see the membership in your Memberships page. There you will also see what benefits the guest access on that particular plan includes.
