Podigee x Steady – How to release exclusive members-only episodes
Podigee x Steady – How to release exclusive members-only episodes
Updated over a week ago

Offering exclusive episodes for your members are a great way to thank them for their support. This is why we've teamed up with Podigee – one of the biggest podcast hosting services in Europe – to make this process as seamless as possible.

Everyone who is hosting their podcast on Podigee and has launched their Steady project can use this feature.

Note: If you don’t use Podigee, you can still release exclusive episodes via Steady's personalised audio RSS feed, or our cooperation with Spotify.

In order to release exclusive episodes of your podcast with Podigee, you need to be on Podigee's Advanced plan. Then follow these simple steps:

1. First, connect Podigee with Steady through our API. You can find the API key in your Steady Steady Backend under Integrations > API.

2. Copy the API key and enter it in your podcast settings within Podigee. Simply enter it under the tab Exports, in the section called Social. That’s all you have to do to connect Steady with Podigee.

3. Publish a new episode as you normally would through Podigee (media files, description, transcript, chapter marks, etc.) and prepare to publish the episode.

4. Encode the audio file.

5. Click on the tab Social and scroll down to Steady.

6. Now choose if you want to release your episode publicly, or exclusively to your members and select "Submit to Steady".

You're all done!
