What are the transaction costs that Steady passes on to you?

Overview of Steady Transaction Costs: Fees by Payment Method, Currency, and Chargebacks for Monthly and Annual Memberships.

Payment Fees Passed on to You by Steady

Steady uses various payment providers that charge fees for each transaction. These transaction costs are passed on to media makers. The fees vary depending on the currency and the payment method. Your billing frequency only determines how often they apply – with annual memberships, fees apply once a year instead of monthly.

Special Considerations for Annual Memberships

  1. One-Time Transaction Costs
Fees for an annual membership are deducted in full during the first payment.

  2. Distribution of Payouts
Contributions for an annual membership are distributed over 12 months to allow for potential refunds if the project ends prematurely.

  3. Lower Overall Costs
Annual memberships incur fewer transaction fees than monthly memberships since the fees are applied only once.
