This article is for publishers. The referral programme lets you recommend Steady to other media makers. Anyone who starts a project through your personal link gets a real benefit – and you get a reward.
How it works
In your Steady backend, open Marketing → Referrals. An overlay opens with your personal referral link.
Share the link with other media makers.
Anyone creating a Steady project through your link pays 0% Steady commission for their first three payout months – the month the project is created plus the two following calendar months. After that, the regular commission applies.
Your own reward and the status of your referrals are shown in the same overlay.
Who can use the programme
The Referrals menu entry only appears if your billing details contain a country supported by our rewards partner (currently 25 countries, including Germany, Austria and Switzerland). If you don’t see the entry, check your billing address in your account settings first.
Good to know
The referral link works via a browser cookie: the person you refer has to follow the link and create the project in the same browser for the referral to be recognised.
The three commission-free months are calendar months. Example: project created on 31 January → commission-free for the January, February and March payout periods.
Rewards and their payout to you are handled by our partner, not through your Steady payout.
