To cancel your membership:
Go to your Memberships page.
Click "Cancel plan" on the membership you want to cancel.
You will then be asked to choose between an “ordinary” and “extraordinary”cancellation.

Ordinary vs. extraordinary cancellation: What's the difference?
An ordinary cancellation is a cancellation that occurs at the end of the billing cycle.
An extraordinary cancellation is a request to cancel the membership before the end of the billing cycle.
How to make an ordinary cancellation
Monthly memberships
Choose from the drop-down menu when you want your membership to terminate. The earliest date of cancellation is the end of the current billing cycle. For example, if you started a monthly membership on the 15th of a given month, you'll have to cancel before the 15th of a month to ensure it does not auto-renew for another month.
Annual memberships
There is only one possible termination date for an annual membership. For example, if your membership started on January 15, you'll need to cancel before January 15 of the following year to ensure it does not auto-renew for a further year. You can cancel on any date before January 15 and it will have the same effect.
Note: If you purchased an annual plan on or after 1 March 2022, you can cancel your membership on a monthly basis after an initial two-year period has passed. This is due to the German Fair Consumers Contract Act, which came into effect in March 2022.
Extraordinary cancellations
An extraordinary cancellation is when you request to have your membership cancelled before the end of your current billing period. For example, you bought an annual membership on 1 May 2022. It is set to renew on 1 May 2023, so normally if you cancelled anytime before that date, the membership would simply continue until the 12-month period was through. However, you would like to end your membership on 1 February 2023 and have the remainder of your membership payment refunded.
To request an extraordinary cancellation, you will need to provide a reason for the cancellation, as well as the date you want your membership terminated and your email address. A member of the Steady support team will review your request and be in touch.
Deleting your Steady account
Deleting your Steady account is only possible after you have cancelled all of your memberships.
