Plans are the very essence of supporting a publication on Steady.
If you have a publication and want to gain members, you do this by offering plans to your audience. For each plan you set a fixed price, which members pay regularly (usually monthly). In addition, a plan may include benefits for your members.
If you want to become a member of a publication, you purchase one of the publication’s plans. Usually you receive a benefit in return for your support.
Monthly and annual plans
Plans are available both on a monthly and annual basis. For annual plans, members pay once a year instead of once a month. Annual plans may offer a discount over the monthly plan. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime during a month, to avoid paying for the following month. For annual plans, this can be done anytime throughout the year.
