Your membership includes exclusive podcast episodes, and here’s how to start listening. There are two ways to get them:
Listen via your private RSS feed – works with almost any podcast app
Whichever option the podcast offers, you’ll find the button to set it up in three places after you buy a plan:
on the Thank You page right after your purchase
in the confirmation email we send you
on the membership card under My Memberships in your Steady account
Listen via your private RSS feed
Your private RSS feed is a personal link that delivers exclusive episodes straight to your podcast app. Click Get podcast to open the Podlove widget, which shows the podcast’s cover art and title.
Next, choose where you’d like to listen. Selecting an app opens it and adds the podcast, so you never miss a new episode.
Don’t see your app? Choose Other app to reveal your private RSS feed link, then copy and paste it into the app of your choice.
You only need to set this up once. From then on, new exclusive episodes arrive automatically.
Listen on Spotify
If the podcast releases its exclusive members-only episodes on Spotify, you can listen right inside the Spotify app. You can start from Spotify or from Steady – both take a minute.
Option 1: Start from Spotify
Open an exclusive members-only episode in the Spotify app.
Tap the lock icon or the Get access button.
You’ll be redirected to a browser page showing the Spotify account you’re logged into.
Log in with your Steady account, or create a new one.
That’s it – the exclusive feed now appears in Spotify alongside your other podcasts.
Creating a new account and haven’t bought a plan yet? You’ll be asked to choose one during this step, so you can finish and start listening right away.
Option 2: Start from Steady
Go to My Memberships and find the plan you bought.
Select the podcast that’s published on Spotify – its membership card shows an “on Spotify” button.
Click the button and connect your accounts.
You’ll go to Spotify to log in or confirm the account link. Done.
